History
Duesenberg's chief designer, Gordon Buehrig, designed two Speedster bodies for the Weymann atelier. The first was mounted on a short J-437/2450 chassis and was later called the Tapertail Speedster, while the second, known as the Fishtail Speedster with a long 2537 chassis with an SJ-508 engine. This car was one of the biggest roadsters in history and belonged to the notorious George Whittell, who equipped the car with a siren and emergency lighting.
